ZigZag developers asked the community to design and vote for the airdrop process.
For this process to be decentralized and transparent, the community needed the ZigZag Token (ZZ).
The problem is that everybody could buy tokens and vote on the airdrop proposition, even whales who didn’t use the protocol before.
I propose this simple decision tree in order to decide who should be able to vote on this very first governance proposition.
This decision tree should only apply on airdrop propositions, in order to let future members participate in the decision process as anyone else.
In addition, we should take care of Sybil addresses. Optimism managed to identify several of them for its airdrop but obviously didn’t share the criteria. Even if I don’t know yet which fair criteria would allow to identify most of the Sybils without excluding honest transactions, I think it is something we should take care of. Do not hesitate to make your propositions about it.
In simple words, only addresses that meet those criteria should be able to vote on the airdrop proposition:
- has performed at least 3 actions on ZigZag exchange before June, 20th (date of announcement of token on Twitter) ;
- has some ZZ tokens (of course), even if those has been bought after the IDO.
